Frequently asked questions
How do series and batch type approval differ?
The production scope, covered instruments and applicant requirements differ. A batch needs an identified composition; a series needs defined models and variants. Initial information determines the applicable route.
Will testing require samples?
The applicable testing programme determines sample requirements, quantity and configuration. These are agreed with the State Scientific Metrology Centre before dispatch.
Is a foreign certificate sufficient?
Foreign documents form part of the initial file. Recognition and further steps depend on applicable rules; a foreign document should not be assumed automatically valid in Kazakhstan.
