Procedure outcome
The calibration certificate records results, metrological traceability and measurement uncertainty. Reporting and any conformity assessment are agreed with the provider for the customer’s task.
Service conditions
Calibration needs and provider competence requirements are reviewed separately. The next calibration date depends on manufacturer and owner requirements, operating conditions and the quality system.

Does calibration include adjustment?
Calibration determines metrological characteristics. Adjustment and repair are separate activities agreed individually. Characteristics may need reassessment after intervention.
Can I order calibration instead of verification?
First review the intended use and mandatory requirements. A calibration result does not automatically replace required verification.
